Covid-19 Policy

We are closely monitoring the news and the current rates of Covid-19, so that we may implement any necessary changes, We have created this page to clarify in detail how we will be working to keep Our customers and ourselves safe.

We will update this page regularly with any new information or any procedures that we must put in place to ensure that we are following the Government COVID19 guidelines correctly.

We appreciate that this is a very unusual time for everyone, and not being able to work in the same way as before can be very hard. Unfortunately this will mean the amount of people we can have in the studio at any one time will be less than usual. Availability will also be greatly reduced. We'd like to take this time to thank you in advance for your patience during this time.

STUDIO GUIDELINES AND PRECAUTIONS UPDATED JANUARY 2022

PRIOR TO THE PANDEMIC - Handwashing before and after a session has always been essential, as was washing props such as outfits and fabrics between each session, and we have always maintained high levels of cleanliness within the studio too. We will continue with these practices but we will also ensure these areas are sanitized before and after sessions, we will also be lowering the amount of studio sessions we offer per day, this is to allow us to thoroughly clean all areas.

ADDITONAL PRECAUTIONS - Hand sanitiser available for clients and myself to use, Ian is double vaccinated, takes regular Lateral flow tests and will also wear a mask should you wish him to. We also welcome the wearing of facemasks for those who are not being photographed (accompanying adults) wherever this is possible.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Please read the following before coming to the studio, as this page might be updated regularly with new information. To keep ourselves and yourselves safe, the following must be followed.

ILLNESS - If anyone in your household has been unwell in the last 72 hours, please rearrange your session (as always, we will happily move your deposit in the case of illness). Please note, We will also postpone a session if any member of our own household has been unwell. If you have been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 during the last 10 days then we respectfully ask that you await the results of a PCR test before attending your session.

PAYMENT - To book a session, a non-refundable booking fee of £10 must be made, and this is to be made via bank transfer or through our booking site.

LIMITED SESSIONS - Studio sessions will, for the time being, be limited. Sadly we must limit our availability to enable the thorough cleaning that must take place between sessions.

NEWBORN- Sessions have been able to take place since July 4th, all safety precautions are taken. When working with your newborn, Ian is in very close contact with them and yourself, this means he can not safely maintain a distance from your newborn for the full duration of your session, and as we're sure you will agree, safety is key, particularly whilst photographing a newborn, therefore Ian will wear a mask and we will ask that where possible that you do the same.

PORTRAITS - I'm sure that you can appreciate, given the guidance on Social distancing, that the sessions we can offer, especially in the studio are more limited. We mainly photograph maternity, newborns, little ones, cake smashes and family's (of no more than 6 people) in the studio. We will continue to offer these sessions unless the guidelines change.

- STUDIO ARRIVAL -

- Please only bring in the absolute essentials to your session, for example:- nappies, towel, soother. Please do NOT bring toys (unless advised otherwise), extra electronics, food (additional to cake smash cake) or anything else.

- If possible, wear footwear that is easy to get on and off, as you will be asked to leave your shoes at the door if you are able to. If possible, please also leave jackets / coats in the car.

- You will need to sanitise your hands upon entering the building, this is available for you to use however you may choose to bring your own and that is fine.

-Upon arrival please wait to be directed where to go as your session will be prepped ready.

-Ideally, only one parent with one child should come into the studio for cake smash sessions or little sitters.

We'd like to thank you again for your understanding and patience during this time. We hope that things soon become easier and of course, that at some point, when it is safe, that we can return to much more normality.

We look forward to seeing you in the studio. If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to contact us. Also if at any time during your session you have a question about anything please feel free to ask.

Samantha and Ian
